The 30th July I will keep in my mind forever.
This date has shaped my life. I know I'm gonna tell my grandchildren about this experiences when I'm old.
Why?
Because I've been at Tomorrowland for the first time. I can hardly put it into words how it felt to be there. Everyone must have experienced it once in his life.
As I knew that I can finally go to Tomorrowland this year, I completely freaked out.
I didn't want to believe that my long-cherished dream would be fulfilled.
I have never been so happy as the day, where I got the notification from Tomorrowland that I am able to buy tickets. I admitted to be the happiest girl in the whole world!
A few weeks later I received a large package from Belgium by mail. I directly knew what to expect when unpacking it: The bracelets, which we need in order to be able to enter the magic gates of Tomorrowland.
I registered the wristband in advance on the Internet. Then I was ready for our unforgettable trip.
Finally the day has come!
At 30th July I woke up early, my alarm clock rang at 7.30 am. Too early but I was very excited so it was easy to get up early. The whole previous day, I've been thinking about what I'm going to wear. I decided for the wreath of flowers that fits perfectly to the scenery.
Before I went to Belgium, I made a short stop at my friends houses to pick them up. We went to the small town of Boom which is about 1.5 hours away, where Tomorrowland takes place since 2005.
When we arrived at the beautiful city Boom, there were plenty of parking spaces where we parked for only 10 euro for the whole day. The parking lot had a concrete floor. Perfect because I was afraid of the weather circumstances!
We were brought with a shuttle bus directly to the entrance of Tomorrowland, because the Parking spaces were far away from the festival terrain. This was to prevent that the neighborhood was disturbed by the noise of arriving visitors.
In the bus I felt connected to the people from other countries who were just as excited as I was. I just could smell the excitement in the air. That has been a mind blowing moment to me!

During the ride to the festival area I noticed that there were hundreds of Tomorrowland flags hanging out of the windows of the houses. This shows the acceptance and loyalty of the neighborhood towards Tomorrowland ! Hats off for doing this! I think that is awesome.
There were 2 security checks before we were allowed to enter the gates to Tomorrowland. We felt very safe through the security checks
We had to wait in front of the entrance for about 15 minutes, because the gates to Tomorrowland had not opened yet.
The entrance was designed like a big door which access to enter a different world where you can feel free. They have put a total effort in the design. :-)

As the gates opened, a mass of people rushed to get in. When I entered the gates to Tomorrowland it was something that I have never experienced. My heart beat got higher and higher. First we went across the entire festival side to get amazing impressions. We became aware of why everyone wants to Tomorrowland. Total madness!
